A Message From Cory
To me, creativity is the adrenaline of the soul. Whether I'm developing a new brand, birthing a new character or producing a new show, I'm not merely doing what I do to earn a living, I'm doing what I must to feel most alive. I've been around the block a few times in my career, and I've had the privilege of working with some incredibly talented people including artists, sculptors, designers, photographers, animators, actors, writers, producers, directors, musicians, composers, dancers, choreographers, etc. Yet, the ones I remember the most and who have taught me the most, are not always the most notable, but the most passionate. You see, passion and creativity go hand-in-hand. The "starving artist" is able to sacrifice having three square meals to pursue his dream because he's passionate about his work. Some would call him crazy, I'd call him driven. Often times businessmen and creatives clash. The businessmen stand guard to ensure that budgets are adhered to and profits are realized. The creatives see an opportunity to create, often without regard to the fiscal obstacles that lie before them. The concept of someone who can do both is not generally accepted in the business world without reservation. However, I am that "someone." Having started and built my own organization, dealing with shareholders, boards and strategic partners, I understand where the road between fiscal responsibility and creativity meet. And, as a creative at heart, I find a way to get the job done, without sacrificing the ultimate creative vision. I hope to have an opportunity to work with you and your team and share my creativity, passion and experience to help you achieve your goals. |
